About Terra Knots Studio

I'm Lauren; an ex-archaeologist and museum historian teaching English as a second language. Well... that isn't ALL I do! I am also a mom to an incredible little boy and the owner of Terra Knots Studio. I had the idea of the studio when I realized that I hadn't found the exact creative outlet that I had been searching for. With decades of hemp jewelry making, and many attempts at calligraphy sign work (I even did all the signs at my wedding), I hadn't found what my soul was missing. I, then, discovered the world of macramé. A place where I can dye, paint, knot, and weave materials. A new outlet for me to creatively express myself and create incredible works of art as home decor.
